The material removed during the tunnelling for the Bloor/Danforth subway was used to fill in the ravine.

The photo appears to be mislabelled. The Crawford street bridge had 3 arches (the Harbord bridge was single arched), and Trinity-Bellwoods path of Garrison Creek appears to be in the background...
